Mary Alice Carol Willey (commonly known as Carol Willey) was a 23-year-old female who was murdered in Wesley, California, in 1971. Her body was discovered on the 11th of September 1971. She had been stabbed to death.
Carol was unidentified for 37 years, until 2008 when her remains were exhumed and tested for DNA to follow up on a potential match.
Unfortunately, Carol’s murder remains unsolved. Investigators believe that a possible motive for her murder could have been retaliation for Carol’s alleged involvement with the Black Liberation Army.
