Madeleine Anna Babcock

Madeleine Anna Babcock was a 35-year-old woman who went missing from Los Angeles, California. Madeleine last spoke with her mother at 4:00pm on the 11th of June, 1968. Madeleine had called her mother from a payphone in LA, where she lived, and said that she had got a friend to drive her to her mother’s house the next day. Madeleine’s mother lived around 20miles from her.

Madeleine never arrived at her mother’s house and has not been seen or heard from since.

Later that week, Madeleine’s mother and her sister, Pat Foy, went to Madeleine’s apartment, but she was not there. Her landlord let them into the apartment, but they discovered that all of Madeleine’s things had been moved out. Her landlord said that he hadn’t noticed anyone moving things in and out of the apartment over the past few days, and he wasn’t even aware that she was missing.

Pat and Madeleine’s mother reported Madeleine missing in July. Neither of them seemed to be too worried as they believed that she had left on her own accord, however, Madeleine has never been seen or heard from again. Madeleine’s case still remains unsolved.

Madeleine is described as being a white female, aged 35, 4″11′ and weighing 105lbs. Madeleine had been married twice and had four children. According to her family, it was not unusual for Madeleine to lose touch with them for long periods of time. Madeleine had blonde hair with bangs, hazel eyes, both ears pierced, a previously broken nose, a high forehead with a slight bulge on the right side, she had hydrocephalus and required spinal punctures every seven years to manage her condition, had a hysterectomy and has a scar on her abdomen, she may suffer from amnesia and she was an alcoholic.

If Madeleine is still alive today, she would be 89 years old.
